Junior Showmanship
Professional guidance for motivated junior exhibitors focused on communication with the dog, ring technique, and sportsmanship.
Children aged 9–17 (official competitions start at 10)
Motivated, dog-loving children who want to learn proper handling.
Safety First:
• All sessions under full parental supervision
• Dogs selected/adapted to age & size of child
Motivation & Attitude:
• Only children who show interest, respect, and willingness to train
• Emphasis on friendly competition — children learn from others in ring
Progression:
• Can start at 9 years old to prepare for first competition at 10
• Gradual learning, structured program, no overload
Emotional Load:
• Sessions scheduled to not interfere with school or other activities
• Training intensity and frequency adapted to child’s age
